Karachi, October 10th, 2024 – Mirza Shah Behram, CEO of Talal Transport, one of Pakistan’s leading transportation companies, announced his full support for the nationwide strike called by the All Pakistan Goods Mazda Owners Association on October 22nd, 2024.
In a press conference, Mirza Shah Behram stated, “We fully endorse the demands of the transporters and stand in solidarity with them. The government’s persistent disregard for the challenges faced by the transport sector is deeply concerning.”
He further added, “All Talal Transport vehicles will be completely off the roads during the strike. We believe this strike is a crucial step towards securing the rights of transporters and will compel the government to seriously address our concerns.”
Mirza Shah Behram urged the government to acknowledge the transporters’ demands and find a resolution before the strike. He emphasized, “The strike will harm the country’s economy and cause inconvenience to the public. Therefore, the government must address this issue promptly.”
Talal Transport’s support for the strike is a significant boost for the transporters. This is expected to encourage other transport companies to join the strike, further increasing pressure on the government.
